Child Safety Standards
Last updated July 2026
OneNow is a faith-based community platform. We are committed to protecting children and have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page describes the standards we uphold and the steps we take to prevent, detect, and respond to child safety violations on our service.
See something that endangers a child?
Our Commitment
We prohibit any content, conduct, or use of OneNow that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes CSAM, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any attempt to normalize, facilitate, or solicit the sexual abuse of a minor. Violations result in immediate removal of the content, termination of the responsible account, and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
Prohibited Content and Conduct
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — images, video, audio, text, or generated media.
- Sexualization of minors, including sexualized commentary, depictions, or roleplay.
- Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt by an adult to develop a sexual relationship with a minor.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child.
- Sharing personal or contact information of a minor for exploitative purposes.
How We Prevent and Detect Abuse
- Minimum age. OneNow is not directed to children under 13, and users must meet the minimum age requirement to create an account.
- Community guidelines. Our Terms of Service prohibit CSAE, and violating content is removed.
- In-app reporting. Every post, story, comment, message, and profile can be reported directly within the app so our team can act quickly.
- Moderation. Reported content is reviewed by our moderation team, and confirmed violations are removed and the responsible accounts terminated.
- AI safeguards. Our in-app AI assistant is constrained to faith-formation topics and is designed to refuse and redirect unsafe requests.
Reporting a Concern
If you encounter content or behavior that endangers a child, please report it immediately:
- In the app: use the report option on any post, story, comment, message, or profile.
- By email: info@onenowapp.com
We review reports of child safety violations as a priority and take action, including content removal and account termination.
